Self-Portrait is a British brand and UK is the primary size system — all conversions reference the UK size. The SML letter system has duplicates by design: UK 6 and 8 both map to S, UK 10 and 12 both to M, UK 14 and 16 both to L, so the UK number is always the most precise reference.
